Co-organised with the Orchard Road Business Association and held in collaboration with SG Cares Giving Week, the Christmas on A Great Street Community Chest Light-Up Ceremony 2022 invites the community to join us for our year-end giving activities.
On 12 November 2022, witness the dazzling Christmas lights along Orchard Road and support communities in need at a fun-filled mini bazaar from 3pm. You can also show your support by making an online donation. 100% of your donations will go towards supporting more than 100 social service agencies running over 200 critical programmes for our service users through Community Chest.
Where will your contributions go?
100% of your donations will support more than 100 social service agencies through Community Chest. These social service agencies run over 200 critical social service programmes, empowering children with special needs and youth-at-risk, adults with disabilities, persons with mental health conditions, and seniors and families in need of support.

On the eve of Christmas and New Year’s Day, visitors to Orchard Road will also be treated to a special countdown segment with unique content and augmented reality at midnight.

Fun
Look forward to carnival treats, games, and everything fun. Perfect for families and kids, the Village will feature Singapore's first-ever all-white carousel, new attractions such as an inflatable bouncer, and countless other rides, including swings, teacups, and trackless trains.
Food
Speciality food items from local producers will also make an appearance at this year’s Great Christmas Village, as well as a beer garden.

- Magnum & Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream
Arts
This year, visitors will also be able to register for art workshops where they can learn fun new skills, such as alcohol ink painting, tapestry weaving and clay modelling and crafting.
Music
Live music is back on Orchard Road. At the Great Christmas Village this year, visitors can look forward to a line of local artists such as Jack & Rai, The Cold Cut Duo, Daniel Sid and Fyrdauz Macbeth performing every Friday, Saturday and Sunday leading up to Christmas.
